The CyObs scan revealed that more than 21% of Japan’s active IPs are vulnerable to critical and high severity vulnerabilities. This estimate is based on an advanced scan of more than 4 million active IP addresses (which is only 2% of Japan’s total IP allocation). If these vulnerabilities are exploited, it could jeopardise Japan’s critical infrastructure and essential services.
Further results from this study will be presented at this year’s Innovation Leaders’ Summit (ILS) on 8-9 February 2022 by John van Rooyen, Regional Director of Dreamlab Technologies ANZ.
