The digital revolution has blurred the lines between the physical and digital world. Authorities, institutions, and organisations are dependant on IT technologies which, if not managed properly, can be complex and profoundly disruptive. The same technologies that have enabled business transformation have also enable cybercrime. Accordingly, IT security has become a central management task and should have a high priority on the agendas of top management and boards.
