For the first time, cyberattacks have appear in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Risks Report. The 1,200 experts and executives surveyed consider hacker attacks a high risk (8th place) in both the short and long term.

Switzerland is not immune. As showcased in the latest figures from the Swiss National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), over 34,000 cyberattacks were reported in 2022: 13,000 more than in the previous year and three times as many as in 2020.
"Attacks from cyberspace are becoming increasingly sophisticated and highly automated," says Nicolas Mayencourt, CEO of Dreamlab Technologies. As more and more companies digitise their business processes, their attack surface increases, exposing them to greater security risks.»
