Hackers have penetrated the federal business portal EasyGov

As reported by the Swiss public broadcasting organisation RTS, the attack dates back to August 2021. Between the 10th and 22nd of that month, hackers accessed the www.easygov.swiss platform up to 544,000 times a day. A total of 1.3 million requests were recorded.

The Covid-19 crisis has accelerated the digital switchover of many SMEs. User accounts on EasyGov have doubled in the past year. The platform is now used by some 40,000 companies.
