Today, Swiss national TV channel SF1 broadcasted a report about an identified WLAN vulnerability at Starbucks. The vulnerability exposed personal customer data of users connecting to the chain’s public WLAN. José Garduño, Senior Security Consultant, and Dr Marc K Peter, CCO of Dreamlab Technologies, provided a demo and further insights as part of the TV’s consumer protection report “Kassensturz”.
