Today, Swiss national TV channel SF1 broadcasted a report about an identified WLAN vulnerability at Starbucks. The vulnerability exposed personal customer data of users connecting to the chain’s public WLAN. José Garduño, Senior Security Consultant, and Dr Marc K Peter, CCO of Dreamlab Technologies, provided a demo and further insights as part of the TV’s consumer protection report “Kassensturz”.
The Dreamlab and Kolab consulting teams published a best practice article in the Swiss CIO magazine 'Netzwoche' about the future of digital collaboration. It includes the eight key success factors for the development and implementation of collaboration platforms in organisations.

CEO Nick Mayencourt provided an overview of cyber security related topics and issues to a group of teachers in Bern (Bildung Bern) to raise awareness and provide teaching content. The group confirms the growing issue of cyber and data related issues among students. Dreamlab is humbled to provide cyber training to public school teachers to support society in the transition into the digital age.
Dreamlab founder and CEO Nick Mayencourt and Regional Director for Latin America Fabien Spychiger welcomed distinguished guests to a CEO roundtable conversation at the Swiss Embassy in Santiago de Chile, discussing trends, issues, the business model of cybercriminal organisation and the commercial impact of cyber threats and attacks. The FHNW School of Business released their annual Cloud Study report, featuring Dreamlab's KOLAB solution to provide an open source, secure collaboration platform for organisations which focus on data security and audit capabilities.
The Audit team at Dreamlab prepared a case study for the IT team of Credit Suisse to showcase the depth of publicly available information about their IT infrastructure, highlighting vulnerabilities in their global IT infrastructure.
Dr Marc K Peter presented key findings from Dreamlab's research and consulting expertise in a presentation titled "Cyber threats, risks and how to avert them" at the Plath Intelligence Workshop at the EW Conference in Lausanne. In the centre of the presentation was a cyberattack scenario involving various methods and tools, demonstrating the need for sophisticated cyber intelligence solutions.
Dreamlab's Dr Marc K Peter presented key findings about the state of digital transformation in Switzerland at the opening of Accenture's new cloud innovation center in Zurich. Five cybersecurity cases from Switzerland, South America and the USA introduced the audience to the risks associated with vulnerabilities in IT infrastructures and platforms.

From 10 to 18 August 2017, Cyel was in the heart of the high-tech International Business Park of Singapore to run a Proof of Concept (PoC) for its innovative moving target security solution, Cyel Equilibrium, to clients from the banking, infrastructure, transportation, telecommunications, and law enforcement sectors.
The PoC environment provided a full set-up to run a live simulation and secure an entire network. Through a Software Defined Network (SDN) implementation, the team defined smart zones independent of network constraints, like IP addresses or VLANs, to reflect on business risks and dynamically changing requirements, making the Cyel moving target security solution unique.
