It is Dreamlab's mission to help these institutions to define, implement and constantly improve their strategies to guarantee the stability and prosperity of their nations. With 193 member states and over 900 companies, universities, research institutes and international and regional organisations, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a powerhouse in the world of technology, working together for many matters related to information and communication technologies. Dreamlab has joined as an ITU Telecommunication Development Sector Member and looks forward to future joint initiatives to continue shaping the future of digital technologies.

During the last two decades, a new battlefield has emerged: the global cyberspace, formed by connected information technology, is now a fundamental part of our lives and a critical piece of nations and governments’ infrastructure. Unfortunately, the cyberspace has not only provided us with opportunities; it has also become one of the biggest threats to the prosperity and security of nations and societies. In this context, it is fundamental for government institutions to develop a long-term digital transformation strategy with cybersecurity at its core. We are therefore thrilled to join ITU in this initiative.” said Prof Dr Marc K Peter, Global COO of Dreamlab Technologies.

The ITU is the United Nations (UN) specialised agency for information and communication technologies which strives to improve access to ICT to underserved communities worldwide. Through the development of technical standards that ensure networks and technologies seamlessly interconnect, and allocation of global radio spectrum and satellite orbits.
