Dreamlab participated in the ARES’ 16th edition Availability, Reliability and Security Conference which took place from August 17th to 20th 2021 as an all-digital conference. We were represented by our cybersecurity specialist Mischa Obrecht who held a successful session on the classification of suspicious domains in the .ch-domain space using deep neural networks.
This was developped in the context of Dreamlab's involvement in the SAPPAN project. SAPPAN stands for "Sharing and automation for privacy preserving attack neutralization" and is about researching ways of detecting malicious activity, sharing threat intelligence in a privacy preserving way and then acting upon such information to respond to cyber incidents.
